Do I need to bring in my empty cartridge?
No. While Ink and Toner Alternative will offer a discount on products purchased when empty cartridges are brought in to the store, it is not required.
Will using a remanufactured cartridge void my printer's warranty?
According to Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) cannot, as a condition of their warranty, require the use of their cartridge. Only damage that is specifically caused by the use of another brand of cartridge is exempted. However, under those unusual circumstances, the cartridge remanufacturer will repair the equipment under the warranty they provide with their products.
What happens if I get a bad cartridge?
Ink and Toner Alternative will either replace the product or refund the full purchase price.
Who uses remanufactured cartridges?
Small and large organizations in various industries are getting wise to the savings offered by remanufactured cartridges. For example, many government agencies are stretching taxpayers' dollars by using remanufactured products, and public school systems everywhere are participating in incentive programs: Collecting used cartridges and returning them to remanufacturers for money or other school equipment and supplies.
I tried this before and didn't like the product. Why should I try again?
In the early days of cartridge remanufacturing, there was a lack of real technical knowledge, critical supplies, and replacement parts. The early remanufacturers often could not afford the equipment necessary for effective quality control. These shortcomings have been solved.
Continually advancing technology and the STMC (Standardized Test Methods Committee) certification process has transformed what was once a small cottage industry into a burgeoning industry that can offer great products and amazing values. Quality is no longer a guessing game; It is a serious pursuit.
Which machines can use remanufactured cartridges?
No matter which machine you own or which cartridge the manufacturer suggests, it is available remanufactured or compatible (or soon will be.)
